AboutAssociate Professor in the Department of Government at the University of West Florida.
An International Relations scholar, my work has evaluated national security and grand strategy in the Carter, G.W. Bush, Obama and Trump administrations. My current book project carries this forward to the Biden administration. My other recent work focuses on technology and policy change. Topics include cybersecurity strategy as well as my article in Diplomacy and Statecraft on early US technical assistance in Iran. I also regularly engage the media and other forums to comment, discuss, and analyze for the wider public. With years of work in undergraduate and graduate classrooms, I am passionate about about integrating scholarship with discussion and current events. Explore my courses here. I, for one, think they're rather interesting! |
